On December 1, 2011, My wife and I had our worlds shifted as we welcomed the birth of our first born, Truett. It was a whirlwind of a ride, but at the end of it all, we were blessed with a wonderful baby boy. It was already an emotional day, but trying to capture moments through it all made it even more of an adventure. Here are some of my favorites put together to share a small piece of the story.

This project was quite a challenge for me. I’ve never had to merge 3 stories into 1 and there was quite a bit of learning that took place throughout the process.
When I tackled the piece, I quickly realized I wanted to keep the whole thing true to life to keep it from feeling too produced. To achieve that, I went with the monopod for the entire piece (with the exception of the ‘author’ scenes). Read more »
This project was very rewarding in many ways for me. First of all, I really pushed myself for a fast turn-around to try and create a quality piece in a compact time frame. I feel like I accomplished that to the best of my ability up to this point. I already see room for improvement, but it was a good step in the right direction for the time. Read more »
I had the honor to travel to Ecuador earlier this year and shoot a piece for LifeChurch.tv to help share a story about how they are partnering with Compassion International and the local church in Quito to encourage the healthy development of families in need. That’s a fancy way of say, there is some serious Jesus work goin’ on in Quito and we were blessed to be a small part of it. Enjoy the piece.
